Festive House Assembly

The end of term finished on a high with our annual Festive House Assembly. We began with a whole school sing-a-long to the 12 Days of Christmas accompanied by our staff orchestra. Of course it couldn't be as simple as just singing a part! Everyone also had to do the right actions for each day. These were led by Mr and Mrs Teague who were dressed up in festive garb! Everyone also had to look out for our resident partridge, Mr Coast who was causing all manner of distractions! Part way through the assembly we had a surprise video call from none other than Santa Claus! The children were very excited to see and hear from him! The staff House challenge this year, was to build and decorate a Christmas tree. A massive thank you to Mr and Mrs Holness who represented Falcon; Mr and Mrs Dawson who in matching festive jumpers, took the challenge for Kestrel. Mr and Mrs Clifton were a dab hand at constructing the tree for Merlin and well done to Mr and Mrs Calder who decorated their tree for Osprey. After the House points had been announced, Miss Lambert had an interesting story to tell of a spell cast over our staff! If you haven't seen it, check out our Primary staff Mannequin Challenge and Festive House assembly on our St Chris YouTube channel and Facebook pages:
